Help, please. (Xp/7 Network)

    On the win7 computers, do you have the folders that you want to share, selected as share with Everyone ? or a specific user ?

    Hey guys, there's something that still has me concerned. He says he had to "download and install Link Layer Topology Responder". He shouldn't have had to do that. Maybe it's just me but that tells me the adapter may not have installed properly.

    before i downloaded the lltr onto the xp machine, the xp machine could see the 7 machines, but not vice versa...

    also, does it matter who the win 7 comp is sharing with? i have no trouble accessing the win 7 comp, just going from 7 to xp

    and to try to connect to the shares i am going to start>control panel>network and internet>view network computers and devices>computer name

    I don't understand why you would need to install lltr.

    Can you screenshot your adapter's properties page, place where it lists ipv4, ipv6 etc.
