One is nagware and the other is crippled freeware.

I guess it's like most other things out there. There is a free version of malware bytes that many of us use. Sure, it doesn't run in background...but many of us don't need that.
Sandboxie works well for me. And while I use a ton of VM's and use Linux....going to sandboxie is flat out faster and takes less resources.
For those who want the incredible added protection of Sandboxie for Free its very much worth it one click of the mouse and I applaud Tzuk for keeping this Free option available.
Comodo is the top testing computer security suite Paid or Free according to Matousec.com how do you consider that crippled and which one of the less effective computer security suites do you recommend?

Greetings.
So, at first sight, what´s the real differences a body can spot between Sandbox and VMWare.
zorg
#1). vmWare requires you to run another virtual machine. This likely will require another license to run Windows....no cost required if you choose to use Linux instead.
#2). vmWare virtual machine will take up xxxMB of RAM when you fire up the virtual machine.
#3). virtual machine is another box that you have to keep patched on Windows update site and maintain.
#4). Virtual machine is likely to consume 5+GB of space on the hard drive.
#5). Virtual machine will take 15+ seconds to boot each time you want to use it, where Sandboxie will open in about 2 seconds.
These are the Process Explorer resource allocations for Sandboxie x64 as it runs on my Win7 x64 computer.
