    For years now they have offered free software along with Flash downloads. You can uncheck it.
    Yeah, I noticed that they offer that or McAfee along with it. Sometimes it sits off to the side, as if they try to sneak it in.

    That's another advantage of using Secunia, you click on the fix, it will d/l the main package right to your desktop. Launch it & it's installed, none of this d/l ing an installer & then having to d/l the upgrade.
    Yeah, it used to be McAfee, and before that it was some sort of program that worked with Photoshop. Apparently, now they offer Chrome.

    I was offered the update by the auto-update, so I didn't have to bother going anywhere.

    Check it out here...good program to have in your arsenal. D/L the free version, or you can opt for the paid one....the free one works just great
