Yeah I knew the risks before I cranked it up, I knew I would blow it up one day lol.
Fingers crossed the new one is a goodun, but I have set a limit of 1.75v for the new one, will just have to see how far that gets me :)

Of the top 15 CPUz validations there is a person who attained more than 7GHz at 1.7V. Click the Intel icon in the CPUz window. That is for a 3770K at least.

Yeah I am sure that would be using LN2 though Gary. The colder you can get them the more speed per volts you can get.

Bad Break Paul did the other CPU show up yet ?
Not yet, guess it's gonna be tomorrow now. I will chase it up later :)
Ok I chased it up, could be up to a week before I get the replacement. I am bored of waiting so I just ordered a new one which will be delivered tomorrow. I can then test both to see which is the best and sell the worst one on.
Hopefully out of 2 one of them will be a nice one.
