    The taking of Phenom II

No not a movie - I upgraded the desktop from a dual core 2.8 Brisbane to a Phenom II x4 965 3.4 & 4 to 8 gigs ram. It was time to breath some new life into the htpc. Yesterdays tech, yupp. But check out the experience pics. I'm quite satisfied. Didn't want to do another complete build, and I'm using the laptop more often. One interesting thing occured as I booted back up the bios reported the memory now running in unganged mode. I thought well I'll fix that, but come to find out it's a performance improvment. At least for ddr2.

Better CPU better memory controller very sweet 7.4 on both CPU and Ram just goes to show you that CPU still cuts the mustard even though it's 4 + years old

That's an awesome chip. I have one in my work PC. 4 years and still going strong.
