What are the full specs of that SSD drive? Model number? Have you done a firmware update?

This is the exact model I bought:
Newegg.com - ADATA S599 AS599S-128GM-C 2.5" 128GB SATA II Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Date of purchase was 1/21/2011
I have not done any firmware updates.
I will say, though, that before this problem started, the Windows Experience Index rated my SSD's R/W speed at 7.1. When I ran it the other day, after this problem started happening, it rated it at 7.5. I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not.

Thanks for the link. I imagine there's little hardware difference between the 128GB that I have and the 64GB that he's using, except for the memory cells. I will attempt a firmware upgrade tonight, see what happens. I'm not sure why it would take a year for this problem to develop, though.
Otherwise, I have a 640GB Mechanical sitting around, I'll toss that in and see if a system install on that disk will have the same problem. Try to narrow down which hardware groups I need to look at.
Well it's fixed. A firmware update did indeed solve the problem. However, the firmware update that solved it was to the MOTHERBOARD, not the drive. I did update both, but did the motherboard first, and that solved the problem. I've had this drive for a year, I'll never understand why it took a year for the mainboard to realize that "Hey! I need a firmware update!" Thank you both for your help!
No problem. Thanks for posting back your solution. It may help others who have similar problems. :)
