Tried all of this, still no difference

I also tried Microsoft fix-it and Cmd - repair system files. Neither of these helped.

    Hi VistaKing

I have basically decided to give up. I recreated my profile, but still no difference. The only difference is when I type in anything in the search bar in the start menu it comes up with Programs, Control Panel, Documents, Music, Pictures, Videos, Sample Music, Files. With no Icons.

Thanks for trying to help me to get it to work, any further suggestions would be appreciated.
