    chkdsk eventvwr log does not show deleted files?


    Anyway to show what file names chkdsk deleted after the fact? I need to create a list of files delted to see which ones are missing and I cannot seem to find any information on which files were deleted.

Hello. On windows (7, 64) startup i got (for the first time since i setup this Win 7 system in 2009) a chkdsk initiation on two different partitions ("E:" & "I:") on two different physical drives. "I:" was freshly recovered from accidental deletion so it makes sense. But "E:" is on a physical...
If I delete files and then go to the recycle bin, I can not see any of the files. Therefore if I want to restore a particular file I can not. If I choose to empty the bin, I get I confirmation to delete the correct number of files, but they are not visible. Any suggestions?
