This is the default option, I don't know why. How do I get it to turn on with the press of a key or mouse click? The keyboard and mouse turn on when I click them but the PC remains shut off unless I press the power button, then it comes back from sleep mode like normal.

Any help is appreciated greatly!!

Hi,
I only have that issue on my laptop if a wired mouse is not connected
Otherwise I believe it is going into hybrid sleep not normal sleep where pressing the power button is necessary for either hibernation or hybrid sleep.

If on a desktop it might be caused by in power options disable usb suspend
It's either that or you're using a wireless mouse and keyboard that the driver is not installed correctly ?
