I just oc'd mine ALOT (I had a fan blowing on max into the side) and I managed to get this - my computer died ten seconds after saving the picture.
i dont know what the cnps9900 is like but i had a 9700 for my q9550 and it is only around 5'c hotter than my thermalright ultra 120 extreme. the cnps9700 got my e8400 to 4.22ghz.
but with new technology comes new flaws i guess, it will prob be a while till they make a really good cooler for the i7's.
so is that i7 a napalm? or a nehalem? lmao
My system is about a year old, running a good ol' Core 2 Duo and some DDR2 RAM
Processor is a Intel E8400 OC'd to 3.6... a very safe OC for this processor and haven't needed to push it any farther
RAM is Corsair Dominator, 1066 running at some slightly lower than stock timings, 5-4-4-12, 2T
MOBO GA-G33M-S2L
INTEL E6850
4 giga ddr2
so how can I change and check memory timing ?
