I finally got my OCZ Vertex 2 installed and the OS loaded. Seeing as how I don't do any gaming, I'm pretty happy with these numbers.

You mean happy? Well, close enough, look at my CPU and Ram, and my GT240 has 1 GB GDDR5 Ram. It's all relative.

Thanks Dave

It is my first, and I'm happy with the purchase. Noticeable performance increase for the money.

Hmm, I am only getting a 6.9 with my 18 months old Vertex at FW level 1.41. Not that it matters, but I had expected it to be above 7.

Hello Wolfgang.

If you ran this before a re-install you may get well above 7.

They are nice aren't they

After the purchase, no one ever regrets doing it.

It's the best upgrade I've ever done.

Thanks BFK. Maybe next time I install. I had sent it to OCZ to optimize (because I had a very backlevel FW and there was one step in the upgrade that I could not do), but I guess they did a bum job.
