    Permissions

I use Passwords Plus (DataViz) and store web addresses with saved entries. I can usually click on the URL in Passwords and the web page is opened. Now it stopped working, maybe something I did or the result of an update. At the same time, the message in Yahoo Messenger and MSN Messenger that I have unread emails will not take me to the email site when clicked. Now that doesn't work. This seems to happen once before and I fixed it somewhere in Permissions but can't recall how I did it. Suggestions?

No suggestions from anyone ???? DataViz now charges for advice at $45 a shot!

Don't use it myself (actually never heard of it) but what browser does it open up with? Have something blocking Javascript like No-Script in Firefox, or blocking it in IE? Maybe have ActiveX filtering on with IE that's interfering?

    Ever tried Lastpass instead?

1st suggestion: contact the company that makes that product.

2nd suggestion: run the System File Checker.
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

3rd suggestion: run MalwareBytes (link in my sig)

I called the company, as reported in a previous entry: they want to charge $45 for advice. I ran malwarebytes twice. Your suggestion for scannow was done, made no difference. I still think it has something to do with security. I have done it with Active x on and off.

And is a possibiity, just for trial purposes, to disable and best uninstall, the security program.

If the program turns out to be culprit, then I use Roboform Everywhere.

I've used Roboform for several years and the product only gets better. I've tried the freebies and other popular programs of that genre, but Roboform Everywhere is the best in my opinion.

Great suggestions that did not work

Thanks to all who answered, all good suggestions but none of them worked.
HOWEVER, with all my fooling around, olffering little blood offerings and pouring beer over hot coals, something I did finally worked! URS addresses now go to the web site. Since I do not know what worked I may have to rely on magic again.

    Mystery

Thanks. I am sloppy-self-taught, so anything too off the beaten path seems a mystery to me. I look for answers, advice but usually my problems are too basic and suggestions are too intricate. So I diddle and it sometimes works!
