    Any way to install old programs that won't install on W7 onto W7?


    I have some old programs that failed to install onto my new laptop. I hope to find a way to install onto it other than using the Windows Virtual XP program.

    Hello Alan, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    If you have not already, you might see if using compatibility mode with a older version of Windows selected that the program is compatible with to see if it may help it install and/or run in Windows 7. You might also see if using Run as administrator on the program's installer may help.
