MSDN Blogger Releases "Insomnia" for Keeping Windows 7
MSDN Blogger Releases "Insomnia" for Keeping Windows 7 Awake!
DownloadMicrosoft MSDN Blogger, Delay , has posted Insomnia a program for keeping your Windows computer from "going to sleep".
Windows' default power settings sleep after 15 to 30 minutes of inactivity (i.e. no mouse or keyboard input). While this is great because an unused computer doesn't need to be running at full power. However, sometimes a computer is "busy" even when there's no physical activity (i.e. no mouse or keyboard input).Potential Problems: playing movies, burning a DVD, streaming music, etc.. In these cases, you don't want the computer to "go to sleep".You can either change & rechange your Control Panel's Power Settings - or run Insomnia to temporarily keep Windows "awake!"
so no excuse now!
