    Windows 7 64bit and Ventrilo

I have Windows 7 Professional 64bit. I downloaded the Ventrilo 64bit client but when I log into Ventrilo my entire computer locks up and I will have to manually restart it. It allowed me to download Ventrilo, and open it; but as soon as I physically log in a server, my entire computer freezes and I can't do anything. After 5 minutes of waiting it will get better for a second and then freeze up again. Any ideas?

    Hi ndemco,

Have you tried running Ventrilo in Compatibility Mode for Windows Vista? Here's a tutorial: Compatibility Mode

Let me know if that helps at all.

    Cheers,
