I restarted my computer today and when the User screen came up all of the sudden there were two options. Mine and someone named John. Now usually My Account is the only one to pop up. I have no idea who John is and I promptly deleted his account. Is there anything else I need to do?

It appears that ESET fixed a part of the process. When I went to pick a screen name for the phantom account, the field already had the name John in it. I left it with that name and yet I got junk names that you see in that thread. I also tried changing it to Mary - but still got junk.

You got John :-)

There have been several thread in various forums caused by users being scared by this phantom user. I'm not sure the ESET is handling this well. There is too much time (days) between when people set this up and when the account appears. You can force it to appear, but most people are not doing that.

Anyway - glad that you got it figured out.
