Custom Themes, Icons and Start Buttons.

IconFX has it's own resource editor that I am trying as we speak.



That doesn't work on the imageres.dll because it is compressed.

does anyone know where i can find the shell theme "I beleive that's what it was" to change the folders blue? It might have been part of the Aero Diamond Final - the top shell - not for sure though.

I had it and did a repair, and now can't seem to find it in my theme folder, and dont want to change the wrong one.

The folders you need to change are in System32 and SysWOW and they are imageres.dll and shell32.dll

yeah got it back - I lost the 'Seven Aero Shine Black' download that had the icon hack as well, and forgot where I placed it. I found the link over here in this thread - https://www.sevenforums.com/customization/9336-dark-black-shellstyle.html

Funny thing is I was the last post on that thread and never thought to check out my own posts - could not find it on DA to save my life.

Anyone using Aeroshine in Win7 builds 7201 and up should see my posts here to get the icons and folders working:

I have no clue why booting with a modded shell32 and then re-booting with the original shell32 fixes this. Author was no help. But it works.

Edit: I made a mistake in my last post there. Should say 7231. Not 7131.
