I typed a keyword into the Google search window of my browser, and the instant that I hit enter, I got this BSOD. I ran it through the Crash Analyzer, and I have attached the result. Basically, it pointed to the USB hub driver, but if I'm not mistaken, that is a native driver...isn't it?

The term "hub", makes me think of my external Belkin hub, which makes me wonder about a hardware issue, particularly since I had problems when I had my UPS plugged into it, instead of the back of the computer, but is this BSOD related in any way to that?

If not, what action should I take? I just ran a chkdsk /r day before yesterday, and it found nothing to squawk about.

Since I did post the crash analysis, I assume that the report that you are referring to is that of perfmon. However, I tried to run that at desktop, and got the first error below, and when I tried it in Safe Mode, I got the second.

No. I am referring to the jcgriff2 report

I ran the analysis, and it reported completing, but there is neither hide nor hair of the output in Documents.

Ok. Then how about uploading the contents of c:\windows\system32\minidumps

Since there is only one minidump involved, and you have the analysis of that in my OP, what would it accomplish uploading the minidump itself?

If you want to look into this some more, can you post the information from the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions, there is a lot more information there that will help us to find the cause.

Your choice, post the zip file and we'll take a look at it.
Not much we can do with the txt file you posted, besides mention - re-install the USB driver, depending on what it is, and disconnect the Belkin hub and see if you get anymore BSoDs.

Thanks for the offer, but since I'm going to be putting together a new build, along with a clean install of the OS within the next couple of weeks, there probably isn't any point into digging into this much further. My primary reason for asking this question was to try to just determine whether it was hardware or software derived, but if it returns with the new build, that will became apparent.

Just for the purpose of my own enlightenment, I would like to understand what the minidumps would reveal that the analysis log didn't? I fully understand that the jcgriff method, actually provided additional info that might help, but since that didn't work, I fail to understand what the further good that the actual minidumps would be? I'm not challenging anyone, nor am I concerned about providing the files, I simply like to understand the process better myself.
