0x9F DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE Help!

Recently my father has asked me to put my computer to sleep at night. After doing so, putting it to sleep or even shutting the computer off will cause it to bluescreen.

I have recently updated my bios (flashed them)
I have bought and installed a new video card
I once attempted to overclock but decided the results were not worth it (and reset them to their default speeds)

I have Windows 7 64 bit, with Intel E8500 Processors.
4gigs ram and a Nvidia Geforce GTX 260 video card.

The dump file indicates my hardware is having trouble changing power states. The problem is I don't know how to solve this!

This crash was caused by nvm62x64.sys which is of course part of your video driver control panel. You need to remove all traces of the current driver, and just install a freash copy of the driver, and not all the other junk.

Thank you this has actually fixed several bluescreen problems. I just needed to double click on all the nvidia products in my control panel till they disappeared. Then use a driver cleaner.
