Recently I booted up my computer to find an error message regarding 0xc0000142, which at the moment I had not taken likely, until I found that most of my programs would not load and gave the exact same error message. While going through all my programs to find any working ones, I noticed that only my 64-bit programs succeeded in loading properly. So I investigated to see if others had this problem, and whether there was any sort of fix to this problem. I find what few solid answers there were either did not apply to my situation, or could not work because the repair tools were not 64-bit. So I was hoping that either a 64-bit version of a repair tool existed, or that there may be a fix for my case.
