After re installing my copy of windows on a new hard drive it has work for about a month then i have revived and error 0xC004F9063 and Microsoft saying my copy of windows is not genuine any help would be fantastic!

This error occurs because you reinstalled using Retail media together with the manufacturer's OEM_SLP Key, rather than the proper Key from the COA sticker on the machine.


You need to change the Product Key to the one on the COA sticker on the machine's case (or inside the battery compartment), using the Change Product Key link at the bottom of the System properties page.


You may need to activate by phone.
