1.8 inch laptop sata hard drive will it plug and play in a desktop pc?

Does it have the same power plug and sata port as a 3.5 inch sata drive?
I think it is a laptop sata drive.
Will a sata II controller work if the drive is a sata I drive?

Answers to all three are YES.

IF the drive is Sata 1 and the controller is rated to Sata 2, the drive will still work.
