1024x600 netbook resolution; unclickable 'OK' and 'Cancel' buttons

I recently got a netbook and it is my first time to use its native 1024x600 resolution. A major problem that I got from this is that the 'OK' and 'Cancel' buttons on some confirmation windows are unclickable (they sometimes appear at the bottom of the screen, way below the taskbar, even when the taskbar is hidden). I've tried moving the confirmation window up, but the buttons return back to the same area.

Does anyone know any way to prevent these buttons from showing up in an unclickable area? If not, are there workarounds? Also, what are the default shortcut keys, for 'OK', 'Apply' and 'Cancel'. I am currently using Windows 7 starter on the netbook.

If you are selected on the resolution drop-down, choose 1024x600, press Tab (6) times, and then hit space. This will press the OK button for you.

Thanks for that. I will try to use that as a workaround.

I would prefer a solution that will allow me to see the buttons so I can click on them, though (either resize the window or move the window up so I can see the buttons). Also, I'd rather not switch to a non-native resolution everytime a confirmation window came up.

Found the solution: AltMove- AltMove windows and mouse manager

It's a program that allows moving the window by alt-left clicking anywhere on the window. The window does not snap back down to show the title bar (leaving the 'OK' and 'Cancel' buttons unviewable) after doing this (unlike Windows 7's default window move).

I'm wondering why Windows 7 didn't have this feature built-in by default considering the small screen sizes and native resolutions of netbooks.
