1394 ricoh driver

was wondering if anyone knows where i can find this driver for windows xp (i just installed a dual boot system), ive been searching for a day and a half and i cant find it. my 'everest ultimate' says it a 'ricoh rl5c832 ieee 1394 controller'. im trying to hook up my tascam firewire audio card but it doesnt work. the current driver installed is dated 2001...Thanks

Update the driver by right clicking on it in the device manager. Let it search your computer for drivers already on it. "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer."

Then pick the one with legacy in its name and you should be good after.

there's only one on the list and its the same one installed, it says' ohci compliant ieee 1394 controller'

hi torrent, thanks for the help. When i get to that window with the list. your picture has 3 to choose from, mine only has one to choose from. The one with the legacy is not there....my windows 7 has those 3 selections

im starting to think that the ricoh 1394 doesnt have an xp driver for it. windows 7 has the driver built in
