15 in 1 card reader problems

hi! I'm pretty new at this forum so I'll appreciate your help.
As the title saids, my 15 in 1 card reader dose not work/as some problems. Whenever I put in a sd card in the little green light does not come on like it used to.
I tried everything I can to fix it. From updating my BIOS to installing drivers.
Is there something wrong with the card reader?

Hello jian57 and welcome to Seven Forums.

Couple of things you can try if you haven't already done so. With the 15 in 1 plugged in, open Device Manager and see if it's being recognized and/or if there are any warnings. If it's recognized and no problems noted, use a different USB port on the computer. Try plugging the card reader into a different computer to see if the same issues occur. Try accessing something other than an SD card. Delete the driver and let Windows 7 find the best driver for you. (In Device Manager right-click the device driver you want to remove and click "Uninstall." Click "OK" to confirm and remove the device driver. Restart computer.)
