15 Million files in a folder, and cant delete them
Hello!
I have this issue where its taking way too long to remove a folder. This folder has accumalated 14.5 million files that all add up to 3.69 gb. All the files are the same type. Which is Microsoft Serialized Certificate Store files. It shows its all 0kb in size, but adds up to 3.69 gb. Anyone has any ways I can remove this folder permanently? It was from a game log that I had.

If you are certainly sure you wont need them - try SHIFT + DEL (sometimes even this won't help)
Also you can try above with 500k-1m files if it is still slow.
Maybe someone will advise a program to do this faster if all the above doesn't help.

The best way is to use the command line. Simply open the folder with cmd and use the command
After asking for confirmation it will proceed to delete every file there. It may take a long time though.
Forget about Explorer on this one. It's poor even on thousands of files, and likely will crash completely on millions.
