Hey guys,
I've got Windows 7 RC1 installed and on the same disk I had created a 20GB parition for future references.
Due to requirements of booting XP because of lack of hardware compatibility, I chose to install XP on the 20GB parition.
Now I cannot boot in to Windows 7. It simply loads XP.
Any way around this?

Thanks Dwarf. It works.
So if I want to remove the Windows XP installation I just format that partition? Then I guess I'll have to remove XP from EasyBCD too?

Hello the803,

You should be able to just remove XP from within Windows 7 using the tutorial below.

If for some reason your boot file gets messed up after deleting the XP partition, then you can run a Startup Repair to be able to boot back to Windows 7 again.

Unfortunately, in boot I only see Windows 7 - not XP =[

Strange, you should see XP listed there in Windows 7 after completing all of METHOD TWO.
