In start, type color, open color managementForgot to mention, I fixed image quality problem. Added new profile under color management, works now.
If only boot thing could be solved

Please, explain in detail how you fixed your image quality problem.
.jpg files look terrible, on my computer. When I had VISTA Home Premium picture quality was awesome.
Like you, image quality of .jpg files look great in Internet Explorer, but not in Photo Gallery (Windows Photo Viewer).
Click Add
Choose sRGB IEC...
Click OK
Choose the newly added one and click "set as default profile"
Click close
I might eventually try, got ubuntu working nicely now but it is still bugging me that x64 wouldn't work so I might try in close future and I'll post the outcome.Which beta of WIn7 64 bit were you using?
RC was not supposed to be in-place Upgraded, but so many have done it now that I wouldn't be afraid to try.
