Hello,

I am using my motherboard's audio card which has a front and rear panel.

The front panel has the basic 3.5 jack female, for headphones and microphone.

I am using the headphone one constantly, attaching and removing about 15-20 times per day.

Due to that (I believe) the connection or something has been broken (not completely) and so I have to find the right spot so that I listen correctly from both sides.

MY POINT.

What should I change n there? the whole panel or can I find just one jack?

If I can change just the jack, what should I search for online?

Thank you!

Depends on how the jack is installed and the actual physical jack. Some companies use common jacks so a new one can be soldered in. Others, you have to buy a new front panel I/O assembly.

An option, if you have space in the case, is a separate audio I/O jack panel that fits in either a CD drive space or a smaller space.
