3 identical machines BSOD, running propietary software.

This vendor has sent me a total of 6 machines, all are BSOD, 3 were XP, the latest 3 Windows 7. That said, I have another of their machines (same software) that has been rock solid this whole time. and I have about 20 other machines in same room that aren't having any issues.

The crashes have happened while running the software, and did not happen when I ran memtest for several days.

The machines do have a Matrox ConvertDVIPlus attached.

I think, you should Scan the system for possible virus infection.

• Windows Defender Offline

In that case, you should plan to enable driver verifier.

Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable
Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.

There were no crashes in 24 hours with verifier.exe.

So disable verifier, and notice if the crashes comes back or not.

Indeed the BSOD returned in about 12 hours I think.

The display driver version you are using sometimes is troublesome.

• Download and install Driver Fusion.
• Reboot the computer in Advanced Boot Options, safe mode. Search Driver Fusion in your start menu, and remove all components of your nVidia display driver.
• Boot normally now. Go to Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers, Drivers > Beta and Legacy; search there with your cards particulars for GeForce 306.23 Driver, dated 13.9.2012 and install it.

Why do you use Matrox? Any special reason?

As you see, it is crashing. Better you uninstall it.
