I have 3 monitors - when installing new program - the dialog ( options) to install goes to monitor 2 , not monitor 1 ( this is my main display) . Where is this stored in windows 7 ? thanks ...

I had many off issue with windows 7 and my multi monitor gaming setup.
your best option is to buy yourself multiple monitors.
its a hand bit of software and gives you complete control of every aspect.
my favorite is disabling full screen minimising if you click off on a other screen.
makes finding your way on dayz easier with an online map ^_^
