3 PCs in few day blocked when they try to print something

Hello.
Today is the third notebook with windows 7 that blocked when I try to print something.
For example, from Firefox or Mozilla, if I print something appear the preview window with waiting... and nothing happens. If I push ESC, the window go out.
For other programs, I have to interrupt and terminate them from the Task Manager.

Why?
this happens after a few days from one PC to another. The computers are 2 lenovo and 1 dell.

two are network printers and another is connected in usb. However, the problem is not related to the type of printer. What happens is this:
If I open Microsoft word and give the print command, the cursor becomes a blue circle and continues to spin, the Word bar appears Not Responding and I have to interrupt the program with CTRL ALT DEL.
Same thing in Thunderbird and Firefox: If I open the print command, the Thunderbird or Firefox window opens, the message "preparing preview" appears and stops there.
The strange thing is that in a few days it happened on three different computers, with different users and different programs. Like it's a windows update or something that blocks the printing process.
I updated with Windows Update to the latest update but nothing has changed.

Can you see the pcs with the printers ok on the network and ping them by ip or name try remaking the connections

For the one connected via USB, Open Word, Print, Print. Is the printer shown?
