32-64 Question

HI everyone

Can you install a 64 bit Windows 7 platform on a Vista 32 bit? Everything is 64 bit compatible, am just stuck with a 32 bit vista system

Yes and no. Is your system 64 bit capable? Did you want to upgrade from vista to win 7 or do a clean install?

By looking at your specs you are 64-bit capable...but you cannot upgrade from 32-bit to 64-bit...you will have to do a clean install of Windows x64 to have 64-bit capability...back things up first!

Ah thank you. Am fully 64 bit capable, and really dont mind clean installs. I dont keep any data on my operating system disks anyways
