32-bit or 64-bit?

I just received Windows 7 Home Premium, but I'm not sure which version to install. I'm currently running 32-bit Windows Vista Home Premium on an Acer Aspire laptop, 4GB of RAM and Inter Core dual processor of 1.67 GHz each.

Any tips?

Based just on RAM, go with 64 Bit.

You could run 64 bit. But you really should check your hardware specs and make sure your devices have 64 bit drivers.

32 bit would be the safest option for you. Your machine wouldn't utilize all 4 gig of ram, but enough to run Windows 7 very smoothly.

But so far it looks like you'll be ok for x64.

I'm not really 100% sure on this.... but your CPU temp seems a little high. Is your machine under heavy load at the moment? Are your fan areas free of dust?

Um, I wouldn't say the computer was under heavy load at the moment of the snapshot. And yeah, I guess the fan areas seem alright.
