Hey guys, About 7 months ago I bought myself a laptop, windows 7 home edition, during installation phase at the time I didn't know the difference between 32bit and 64bit, Have a Legit copy of Windows 7. Want to re-install 7 to 64bit to utilize the remainder of my RAM, Although when I bought the Laptop it came with 7 installed, no bootable disc nor Serial number.
Any way I can make a bootable CD/DVD/USB? Any way I can retrieve my Serial number or am I in need of another copy? any help greatly Appreciated.

The Product Key should be on the COA sticker on laptop. It will be different from the one audited from the HD since it is mass-activated at the factory (OEM-SLP) until you reinstall and use the sticker key (OEM-COA) which should activate with no problem.

If you have no COA sticker which came attached on the laptop, you need to contact the manufacturer's Tech Support to find out why - you have free tech support and warranty for the first year. MS requires manufacturer's to provide a COA sticker on preinstalled Win7.

You'll need to find a 64 bit Win7 installer, if necessary unlocking all versions in any other 64 bit installer using the method given in these steps to get a perfect reinstall of factory OEM: Reinstalling Windows 7
