32bit or 64bit

Ok, all my parts might be in tomorrow. And i still havent decided if i want to install 32bit or 64bit. I'll have to find somewhere to burn my 64 bit ISO file if i decide 64bit.

All my parts are 64bit compatible which include:

AMD athlon II X2 2.8 dual core (upgrading to quad core when i can afford it)
4 Gigs of DDR3 memory
Gigabyte motherboard which has a on-board Radeon HD 4200

So what yall think.

No, i'll be using the onboard Radeon HD 4200, cause my Radeon 9800 is a AGP. But i plan on buying a better video card when i can afford it, same with a better processor.

Also, are you planning on using the 400W PSU or do you have a new one in mind for new build.

This build I estimated some things is at 271W (it would be good to check): eXtreme Power Supply Calculator

If your PSU is also 8 years old, I would replace it :|

Additional info:

Changing to a Quad puts it to 316W

and putting in a newer video card:

radeon HD5770 bumps it to 330W
radeon HD 5970 eats it at 495W

I bought a new power supply. Its a 600W.

The only thing coming from my old machine is the harddrive and the DVD Drive. Along with the usual speakers, mouse, keyboard, etc.

Thanks, im' just hoping i dont get any DOA's. The only thing i hate about building a new machine is connecting those darn Tower cables to the motherboard. Some can be really tricky as to where they go.
