I have a wireless Xbox360 controller connecting to my rig via a plug and charge adapter. The charge light is solid green. When I press any button on the controller, the 4-segment ring flashes green, and keeps flashing. No games recognize the controller.

I'm running Windows 7x64. I've installed the latest Microsoft Xbox 360 Accessories 1.2 (Software Downloads: Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows) and my system properly installs the driver.

But it doesn't work. I think the controller is still trying to connect wireless to my computer; and that isn't going to happen.

The threads I've seen around the forum don't seem applicable thus far.
Anyone have any thoughts on how to get my controller some love?
