So there is the difference in the behavior pattern. If you have quicktime installed in your machine, why dont you make it the default player for .3gp and .mov ? I found a free .3gp Player if you want, it'll play all your .3gp movies you've made 3GP Player 2010, an it's certified to be compatible with Windows 7
