Solved 4*2 GB ram or 1*8 GB ram which is better with 3rd gen pro?
Guys,I was wondering which will have better performance with pro:core i5 3470
1)4x2 gb ram ddr3 1600mhz or 1x8gb ram ddr3 1600mhz?cause my pro have dual channel memory feature .How much % will difference?
2)How much performance difference in % between 8gb 1333mhz and 1600mhz?

If your motherboard supports dual channel go with dual channel . It is better on performance . Think of it as 2 lanes on the road instead of just one . More cars could pass through with two lanes same thing with dual memory . More data could go back and forth .

If you are wanting a total of 8GB, I'd go with a 2x4GB kit. 8GB of 1600MHz RAM would be your best bet.
