450+ errors in Memtest with both sticks, now running 1 stick, question

Hello everyone, I have been getting BSODs for awhile now unfortunately. At first I thought it was my power supply not supplying enough power anymore because it's 2+ years old and has been through many builds.

Well, I ran Memtest last night just to be sure, and after waking up 8 hours later, Memtest had reported over 450+ errors, this was with BOTH ram sticks inserted / being tested.

My timings were set as they should be (9-9-9-24-2t command rate and 1.5v DRAM voltage).

Now onto my question:

I'm currently testing 1 stick at a time to see if the errors pop up on one stick only. Now, in the BIOS, I have the timings set to 9-9-9-24-2t command rate, 1.5v DRAM voltage, but in Memtest it says:

CAS: 6-6-6-20 / Single Channel (when testing one stick only)

Are those timings normal / what they should be for testing one stick? Or is there something wrong?

Try resetting the BIOS options for CPU and RAM back to normal and try again. This could be the problem to begin with (overclocking). If you get a BSOD while overclocking, reset the BIOS back to normal.

You can also try updating your BIOS to the latest available version.

Also, are you using the latest version of memtest?
