Ok, just one more quick question.
Can i make Crossfire with 4870x2 and a 4870
They are both the same right? but one is Factory Crossfired. I think.

Hmmmm:huh::huh::huh:yes.... it is possible to run a 4870x2 & a 4870 in ''TriFire'' (3-way CFX)![]()

this might be worth a look.....
a GTX295 Review which is actually pitted against a 4870x2 + 4870 in ''Trifire''
If the money wouldn't be any trouble, which one would you pick?
And, the one im receiving is not in Trifire. Is only a single 4870x2.

personally i'd go with the GTX295, but i don't base that on performance....that's simply based on driver frequency (Nvidia release a lot more), these ''Top shelf'' cards by ATI or Nvidia are more susceptible to driver issues than lesser HD48xx's or GT200's
so i'd rather driver support be thick & fast, in case there's an issue..??
& ''performance wise'' its better than the x2 straight out of the box.

But thats just me......![]()
So basically, GTX for Driver Support and ATI for performance?
Why is it so hard to choose
I will play Games on Ultra High, DX 10 and on 1920x1080.
And i saw that the GTX is better at lower resolutions?

Actually, I don't think that you should give too much money for graphic card at this moment. ATi will launch it's DX11 cards in September, nVidia will do it probably by the end of the year, those cards will be significantly more powerful, which makes buying GTX295 or 4870x2 right now - a waste of money, by my opinion. If the money wouldn't be any trouble, which one would you pick?

I wouldn't buy anything more expensive then GTX275 or 4890, it is quite enough for HD resolution, then I would use it for the next 6-months or so, and then I would replace it for some DX11 card for ~250-300$ that will be at least powerful as is today's GTX295 (I think it will be stronger). If you do so, you will be able to use it comfortably for at least next 1-1.5 years.
I personaly would wait until Ati or Nvidia publish their first
DirectX 11 certified cards.
Read this thread:Anyone have any articles talking about nVidias plans?
I'm building my first self-built system this decemeber, in the 15th-17th time span. I REALLY REALLY hope that the nVidia 300 series cards(if thats what they are going to be called) have debuted by then. I've still got three months before I start building, and the graphics cards havent even been released, but I'm crazy excited already. Hopefully the new nVidia cards will be out by then, and hopefully EVEN MORE powerful than the 295GTX. Anyone have any articles talking about nVidias plans?
