Hi,

I'm wondering why I have 5 programs/drivers in Control Panel > Installed Programs?

NVIDIA 3D Vision Controller Driver 340.50
NVIDIA 3D Vision Driver 341.44
NVIDIA Graphics Driver 341.44
NVIDIA nView 141.36
NVIDIA WMI 2.18.0

My monitor is a Samsung SyncMaster SA350. It doesn't even have 3D.

My graphics card is an NVIDIA Quadro FX 3800.

Should I uninstall some of them or just leave it as it is?

Thank you in advance!

Hello,
NVIDIA Graphics Driver 341.44:is your graphics driver. You need it!
NVIDIA 3D drivers are for 3D monitors. If you don't have one delete these two drivers.
NVIDIA nView is Nvidia's desktop manager. If you don't use this you can delete it.
NVIDIA WMI :
NVIDIA WMI (NVWMI) is a graphics and display management and control technology
that interfaces to Microsoft’s Windows Management Instrumentation infrastructure,
specific to NVIDIA graphics processing units (GPUs). This allows scripts and programs
to be created that configure specific GPU related settings, perform automated tasks,
retrieve and display a range of information related to the GPU as well as many other
administrative tasks and functions. Through the integration within Microsoft’s WMI this
management and control also operates across networks making it extremely powerful
for remote administration and configuration of Windows systems on corporate
networks.

You should have unchecked what you didn`t want during the install, re install the drivers, do a custom clean install and uncheck what you don`t want installed.

FYI, there is nothing wrong with having them all installed.

Mike he has a Quadro card, they are different and don`t use 359 ;)

It looks like 341.92 is the last driver made for that card.

NVIDIA DRIVERS Quadro Desktop/Quadro Notebook Driver Release 340 WHQL

I went to the Luxemburgh site and found these, but you should do it yourself again.
