512GB vs 256GB SS performance!

Hi

I'm curious about it, but there should be an explanation!

It seems that a 512 GBSSD (ex Plextor M3P) s slower that a 256 GB one! Is that correct?
I mean the more GB on a SSD te slower it is?

Usually, it's the other way around. The larger the drive, the better it performs. Are you comparing identical drives, with identical firmware?

Hi,
since I do not no much about all that IOPS jargon..I saw that both Intel520 and Plextor M3P for example (at their websites), the larger capacity version of the SSD have less IOPS both for read and write that the smaller versions!
