Just revisited this post. I'd like some confirmation that x64 browsers aren't protected. Seeing as the poster that posted that was originally "Here to Help" (banned), then "Today" (banned tomorrow). I don't believe a word he posted. In a quick Google, I found nothing to confirm his statements (nor deny either). A Guy

Emailed AVG about this subject. Here is their reply:

Please be kindly informed that AVG supports 64 bit browsers, still please note that Minefield is not a final Firefox version. The only option that is not supported on 64 bit Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers is the "Search-Shield" of the LinkScanner component.
