Hi all
I want to get a new sound card (prob. an Asus) but all of the ones that I want are 7.1.
I don't want to change my speakers because I just want really good music (not really bothered about games and surround movies), and the speakers are 2.1.
My question is: will these sound cards reconfigure for a basic left/right/sub speaker set?
My motherboard is designed for surround sound too, and it has never given me a problem. I want to make sure that there is something similar going on for dedicated sound cards.
Many thanks in anticipation.
