well i think there is some other way as mention in this post:
http://www.sevenforums.com/installation-setup/5173-windows-7-install-problem-vista-xp-dual-boot.html

i tried the method:
Code:
bcdedit /create {ntldr} /d "Windows XP"

bcdedit /set {ntldr} device partition=H:

bcdedit /set {ntldr} path \ntldr

bcdedit /displayorder {ntldr} /addlast

H is my drive letter for xp. and i got Windows Boot Manager at startup but when i wants to goto windows xp it shows me this message:

Files: \ntldr
Status: 0x000000f
Info: The selected entry could be located because missing or corrupted etc.. i hope there is some other way then re-installing xp again.
