Press F8 at startup and select the option "disable automatic restart on system failure"

Not 100% sure if anyone is still following this problem, but I've been having the same issue on my end. Some details:
Windows 7 Professional
As soon as you start the reboot or shutdown procedure the machine will bsod and boot back up as if nothing happened, showing little more information that simply the crash report containing the below info
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.48
Locale ID: 3081
Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: a
BCP1: 8A650BF0
BCP2: 00000002
BCP3: 00000001
BCP4: 828A61B9
OS Version: 6_1_7600
Service Pack: 0_0
Product: 256_1
When you turn off automatic system restarts it will display an IRQ is not less or equal too in the bsod.
If any of you guys have heard of this issue or if the original poster eventually found a solution it'd be great to hear about it, it'd save a lot of heartache!
