I have been having issues with a BSOD with my t510 almost from the day I got it. Lenovo isn't willing to do much of anything for me because they say it is a software issue. I have captured the last three BSOD's that have happened and they are attached. Any assistance with this is greatly appreciated. Please consider me green when replying.

I do have some windows knowledge. But I'm no programmer.

Thank you
Darkhlmt

Any ideas on the win32k.system error. I get this error most of the time. It happens any time I play or stream video. No matter if its from the net or from a DVD.

To figure out any more, I'd suggest providing the info that yowanvista requested.

I suspect that the Norton is also causing the win32k.sys errors - but you won't be able to tell unless you uninstall Norton (or we run further tests).

Anti-Virus Removal:
Please do the following:
- download a free antivirus for testing purposes: Free AntiVirus
- uninstall the Norton from your system (you can reinstall it, if so desired, when we're done troubleshooting)
- remove any remnants of Norton using this free tool: KB Article Not Found
- IMMEDIATELY install and update the free antivirus
- check to see if this fixes the BSOD's

It looks like Norton is responsible in several of the BSOD's. Have you uninstalled it yet?

Also, there's a pile of older drivers that need updating:
OLDER DRIVERS PRESENT IN THE DUMP FILES
- Please update these drivers from the device manufacturer's website - or uninstall/remove them from your system. Reference links included below.
- DO NOT use Windows Update or the Update Drivers function of Device Manager.
- Please feel free to post back about any drivers that you are having difficulty locating.
- Windows Update exceptions may be noted below for Windows drivers:

Wow, okay, I will start this process in a minute. I will post results and or issues. Norton hasn't been uninstalled yet. Haven't had the chance. Do you think that a reinstall would still cause similar issues or is this something that we can address once I'm done with the drivers?

Thank you again!!

We recommend that you uninstall Norton completely (and temporarily install one of the free A/V apps) - and don't reinstall it until after we're sure that the problem is fixed. Then feel free to install it again if that's what you want.
