7057: Autologin disabled

In 7057, I cannot switch on the autologin anymore. It was previously switched on using the command control userpasswords2 followd by selecting the auto login option. However, the command doesn't show me this window anymore. Did someone find this option?

You mean to login to your account without entering a password while you still have a password saved?

Try the following:

Open start and type at the searchbox netplwiz and press enter

Uncheck "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer", supply your current password and you're done.

did netplwiz work? ive used it multiple times but it always goes back to asking for a login on build7057.

"control userpasswords2" is still around in the build 7057, but you have to invoke it through cmd.exe or the run box (Windows key + R)

That worked, been driving me nuts with my media center PC b/c it would reboot for various MS reasons and then my wife was lost until I got home!

I know this is old... but I did this and it worked... when my PC starts i do not have to login .. now however I cannot install anything without the admin pasword and it will not prompt me with a box to enter one... how do you reverse this process... if I try to get in to the netplwiz it prompts me to enter password but there is no place to enter it!! I am no locked out of any admin feature.
