...no props to se7en or jnetty99 in the headers.

There are a few .nl & .de in the posters details...which always say "be Careful!"

I think I'll d/l it anyway and compare hashes to thursday nites version.

lookie there...just like you said, 12eason. Thanks.
It still doesn't show up using my news provider. I'm gonna have to use newsbin from now on to do searches. (I think mines good for retention tho...just the search part may not be so good.)

Yeah, binsearch is pretty good, the advanced search feature especially. But it misses the odd collection. That's where Newzbin tends to beat it.;)

They're a little slow on this one. The RC hit within a couple of hours.

Why is this not available through Microsoft ?

The same reason all of the beta versions were not available through MS. They are just stepping stones on the way to RTM. MS want's what they know to be stable for release. They don't want to let us download stuff when programmers are trying to fix bugs. It's not much better....and faster? No I don't think so. I am running both on 2 different PCs with different specs but see no difference in speed. I have played with almost all beta builds. Placebo effect is all it is. Stick with the RC from MS.

If people want to try new builds they are free to do so. Obviously you wish to stay with RC and that's fine, but don't turn people away from something. If they want to try it, let them.
